Creativerse Arctec Torch Grand Lantern Grand001

The Arctek Torch is a very small, light grey light-source that sheds blueish-white light.

You can craft these luminaires in your Crafting Menu (default key "Q") after unlocking the according crafting recipe by

To craft 4 Arctek Torches at a time, you'll need (as of R44 in June 2017)

Crafting or taking an Arctek Torch is one of the unlocking requirements of the crafting recipes for Grand Arctek Torches and Arctek Lanterns.

Like with all luminaires in Creativerse, the Arctek Torch does not need fuel and will never go dark by itself after the Arctek Torch has been placed in the world.

Arctek Torches (like many other torches) will not hinder player characters nor Creatures to walk over or stand in the exact same space that the torches "take up". That's why you can use torches of all kinds to create air bubbles under water that will help your player character to survive under water. However neither solid blocks nor liquids can take up the same space as these torches.

Arctek Torches can be rotated in all directions by holding R (as the default key) and moving the left mouse button. The chosen rotation angle can then be "locked" too by simply typing "R", so that all items of the same stack will be placed facing the same direction.

Like all crafted objects and blocks, Arctek Torches can be picked up without the need to equip any Power Cells. Of course you won't be able to take Arctek Torches on claims of other players (or in worlds) where your permission level is set low.

The Arctek Torch is a much smaller lamp than the Arctek Lantern, but just as bright as all the other Arctek light-sources. Still, the white light from the Gas Lamp is brighter than these and all other lightings in Creativerse.

Despite being called a "torch", the Arctek Torch does not operate with open fire, so it does not set flammable blocks on fire.

Since update R33 Arctek Torches can now be switched on or off by activating it (right mouse button or "F" as the default key).

Arctek Torches can be wired up with activation devices like Switches, Sensors, Number Pads or Pressure Plates. Luminaires will then serve as receivers and can either be switched on or off. Their interactivity can be toggled and defined with permission settings.

If you have placed Arctek Torches before August 2016, then you might have to pick them up and placed once again before they can be turned on and off.
