The Corrupted Stone Wall is a building-block that does not corrupt adjacent blocks or liquids, and can be picked up without requiring any Power Cells to be equipped.
It can be crafted in your Crafting Menu (default key "Q") or at Crafting Tables (that still exist in worlds created before R22 on September 16th 2015), but only after the crafting-recipe has been unlocked by
- mining Corrupted Stone, for which you'll need at least a Diamond Mining Cell to be equipped, or made from common grey Stone with Corrupt Bombs
- crafting Iron Walls
- and creating or obtaining Diamond Rods by using a Processor to process Diamond bars made from Diamond Ore extracted from Diamond Nodes found on the Lava layer or created from Coal Nodes
To craft 8 (blocks of) Corrupted Stone Walls at a time, you'll need (as of R41 in April 2017):
- 5 (blocks of) Corrupted Stone found on the Corruption layer deep underground
- 2 Diamond Rods made of Diamond bars in a Processor
Crafting Corrupted Stone Walls is one of the unlocking requirements for the crafting recipe for Corrupt Obelisks.
The block can be rotated by pressing and holding R and moving the mouse while holding the left mouse button.
While corrupted Creatures and Diamond Treasure Chests will spawn on corrupted natural blocks in the dark (players can create such blocks as well by throwing Corrupt Bombs at tree Leaves, Wood, Stone, Dirt and/or Grass, or by letting Corruption spread automatically from one adjacent Wood block to another), Corrupted Stone Walls will not make any Creatures or Treasure Chests spawn. Only Keepas are capable of randomly spawning literally everywhere.
