Reinforced Glass is a mostly transparent cubic glass-building-block with an iron frame on two sides, as well as with iron mullion and transom on four sides.
This building block can be crafted in your Crafting Menu (default key "q"), but only after the crafting-recipe has been unlocked by:
- forging Glass by putting blocks of Sand into a Forge
- creating Iron Rods by putting Iron Bars into a Processor. Iron Bars can be smelted from Iron Ore extracted from Nodes found on the Stalactite layer or collected from Iron Treasure Chests or Diamond Treasure Chests
- crafting Siltstone Walls (unlocked after mining Siltstone with at least an Obsidian Mining Cell)
- crafting Iron Walls
To craft 8 (blocks of) Reinforced Glass at a time, you'll need:
This block can be rotated by pressing and holding R and moving the mouse while holding the left mouse button. This might help in some cases when the block changes its look according to its rotation and/or the adjacent blocks/objects. The chosen rotation angle can then be "locked" too by simply typing "r", so that all items of the same stack will be placed facing the same direction.
Since update R46 on September 6th 2017, Reinforced Glass Slopes can be made by putting blocks of Reinforced Glass into a Processor.
Inner and outer corners blocks can then be created for Reinforced Glass Slopes too by putting the Slopes into a Processor.
No crafting recipes are required for either of this.
