You can create the Medieval Fireplace in your Crafting Menu (default key "Q") or at Crafting Tables (which still exist in older worlds) after the recipe has been unlocked upon buying it.
The Medieval Fireplace is two blocks wide and one block deep. It has the appearance of a stone frame decorated with the fleur-de-lis shield design also seen on the Medieval Crest Wall, topped with a light brown plate. Upon placing the Fireplace,a wood fire will immediately start burning within it. This fire can be toggled.
To craft a set of 4 Medieval Fireplace blocks, you will need
- 1 coal (created in the processor)
- 3 stone slabs (created in the processor)
- 2 stone rods (created in the processor)
- 2 melted wax (either created in the forge or found in chests)
The Fireplace can not be rotated. It can, however, be wired up with activation devices like Switches, Sensors, Number Pads or Pressure Plates. The Fireplace will then serve as receiver and can be turned on and off. Their interactivity can be toggled and defined with permission settings.
